Stress is a part of life, and every person is intended to face it every day or maybe once in a few weeks. Stress does not even leave the superheroes, as they are not bundled to handle the whole world's peace. It's not about superheroes though, it's about to learn to grow happier in a nonconducive environment.
Stress is indeed harmful for the mind and body
As said, stress is bad for the account and the body as a whole as it can increase a lot of disease onset in our system. Basically, stress is our enemy, but we need to change our minds.
Let us have a study.
In a study, 39,000 of the people in the US were asked about their limit of stress on a single day. They were asked to believe the harmfulness of stress. Okay, here goes the bad news. People who have induced stress in their lives had a 43% higher risk of dying. But here goes the good one, People who also believed that stress is not harmful were not morbid to dying. The research was estimated to show that 182 Americans died from the belief that stress is detrimental to our health but not actually by acquiring it.
How to make stress our buddy?
The more fascinating fact is how the body can respond to change differently. The stress response is typical when the heart rate goes up, and we go into a panic mode. That is the reason why it is closely associated with cardiovascular disease. But those people who believed that stress is helpful had no signs of cardiovascular diseases even though their heart was pounding. It looks like what happened in moments of joy and eventually courage. This is what a new sign of stress reveals and how you think that stress can do to your body and how you react to it. The key to it is to make sure that you become a buddy to stress and be better at managing its existence by not trying to change the situation but by choosing to react calmly and not triggering the panic button. Hopefully, the next time you are about to get into panic mode, you can think about it differently.
You can think that your body is preparing you for growth, and it is a new way to make sure that you become mature(in your mind) than every before irrespective of your age. If you manage stress in that way, your body tends to believe you. You can make your body believe anything which your mind thinks. Stress releases oxytocin and tunes our brain to become more social. It craves all the physical contact with our family and the people we care about, and that's where we should divert our energy instead of sulking alone or showing anger on others.
A belief can make a difference
A belief that you are not a slave of your own stress can create a life with a huge difference. One that we know, for instance, is that if we chase for meaning in life, we are likely to be happier than chasing something that can only bring out the negative in us.
